Wen is a Ph.D. student in the lab, studying the growth of nanodomains in multi-component lipid vesicles. He joined the lab in the Fall of 2009, and holds an MS in Solid Mechanics from the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Temesgen is a Ph.D. student in the lab, studying finite element methods for nonlinear contact. He joined the lab in the Fall of 2008.
Jessica is an M.S. student in the lab, studying finite element methods for dynamic contact. She joined the lab in the Fall of 2008.

Chandu is a Ph.D. student in the lab, studying evolving interface problems using the eXtended Finite Element Method. He joined the lab in the Fall of 2007, and holds a BS in Civil Engineering from IIT.
Anand is a Ph.D. student in the lab, studying nanodomain formation on giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs) using high-order basis functions. He joined the lab in the Fall of 2007, and holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from IIT.
Hari is a Ph.D. student in the lab, studying contact mechanics in coupled field problems. He joined the lab in the Fall of 2007.
Jessica Sanders has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico and worked as a summer intern at Sandia National Laboratories before coming to Duke University. She is presently a Ph.D. candidate in the lab, and her research focuses on the development of stabilized finite element methods for constrained interface problems. She recently received a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship (NDSEG).
Justin holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Arkansas State. He is currently a Ph.D. student in the lab researching the dynamic fracture of thin polycarbonate sheets.
