Isaac Harari is a professor at Tel Aviv University who is on sabbatical at Duke University for 2007-2008.
Youngjean Jung is a postdoctoral fellow in the Duke Computational Mechanics Laboratory beginning in October of 2006. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Princeton University before joining the group. Youngjean has an extensive background in nonlinear solid mechanics and some recent experience with level set methods. While in the DCML, he will be investigating problems involving the high-speed interaction of deformable solids with non-Newtonian fluids.
Vladimir is an NRC Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Duke Computational Mechanics Laboratory. He holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign. Vladimir's research interests primarily focus on nonlinear continuum mechanics. He is presently developing a general viscoelastic theory to describe the behavior of stimulus-responsive hydrogels.
